Two weeks ago, the Austrian national team qualified for the European Championship finals for the third time in a row. In order to enable the team to prepare as optimally as possible with enough lead time for the European Championship finals in Germany, the ÖFB approached the Bundesliga and its clubs with the request for an adaptation of the general schedule with an earlier end to the season in the domestic championship. In the spirit of unity across Austrian football, the league and clubs have complied with this wish and adjusted the schedule for spring 2024 as follows.
