An official ceremony was held in honor of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Peace Palace in Jeddah, where he was received by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The national anthems of the two countries were played when Erdogan and Bin Salman joined the ceremony area.

After the presentation of the delegations of the two countries, Erdogan and bin Salman joined the meeting at the level of the delegations.

On the Turkish side, attended the ceremony the ministers of foreign affairs, Hakan Fidan, of energy and natural resources, Alparslan Bayraktar, of defense, Yaşar Güler, of industry and technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır, and trade, Ömer Bolat.

Intelligence Chief Ibrahim Kalin, Presidency Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, AK Party Vice Presidents Ömer Çelik and Zafer Sırakaya, and Presidency Advisor Ambassador Akif Çağatay , also accompanied President Erdogan during this tour.

The Turkish president arrived earlier in the day in Jeddah, the first leg of a tour of the Gulf which includes, in addition to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
