Official Working Hours for Federal Government Employees during Ramadan 1445 AH – FAHGHR Circular

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources issued a special circular regarding specifying official working hours for federal government sector employees during the holy month of Ramadan, for the year 1445 AH.

The official working hours for ministries and federal agencies during the holy month of Ramadan – according to the circular – begin at nine in the morning and end at two thirty in the followingnoon, from Monday until Thursday. On Friday, the working hours are from nine in the morning until 12 noon, with the exception of The nature of their work requires otherwise.

The Authority confirmed that ministries and federal agencies may – and in accordance with the interest of work – continue to implement the flexible work regulations approved by them, during working days in the holy month of Ramadan, in accordance with the principles contained therein, and within the limits of the number of approved working hours per day, with the possibility of granting flexibility to working employees. It has to work remotely on Fridays during the month of Ramadan, and at a rate not exceeding 70% of the total number of the entity’s employees, according to the approved controls.

On this occasion, the Authority extended its highest congratulations and blessings to the leadership, government and people of the United Arab Emirates, the residents of its land, and the Arab and Islamic nations, asking God Almighty to return this occasion to them while they enjoy good health and wellness.
