Olympique Khouribga continues its campaign in the Throne Cup after defeating USM Tawarka on penalties (+Results and program of the 16-final matches follow)

The Olympique Khouribga team qualified for the quarter-finals of the Throne Football Cup (season 2022/23), following defeating the Ittihad Tawarka team on penalties (5-3), following the end of the match that brought them together, yesterday evening, Friday, on the floor of the Phosphate Complex in the city of Khouribga, in a draw. Round of 16, tied in regular and extra time with two goals to the same.

The Olympique Khouribga team was in the race to score through Mohamed Al-Hawat (45+1 minutes), while Taoufik Bentayeb equalized for Ittihad Tawarka (88 minutes), and Hassan Al-Daraichi gave Olympique Khouribga the lead in the first extra period (104 minutes), before scoring the equalizer for Ittihad. Tawarka Hisham Al-Khalwa (d. 110).

The referee of the match issued a red card in the face of Ittihad Tawarka player Simon Dido (25th minute) and Olympique Khouribga player Rachid Abou El-Zahr (120+2 minute).
