ON VIDEO | “This man was walking and he pulled me”, says a girl who escaped an abduction

Security camera footage released this week shows the moment a 6-year-old girl escapes her attacker as he tries to abduct her outside her home in Ohio, US, according to the New York Post.

The little girl was taking out the trash when Deric McPherson, 33, grabbed her by the arm.

Fortunately, she manages to free herself and then runs home to warn her parents.

“This man was walking and he touched me and he pulled me,” the girl told ABC’s Good Morning America.

“He let me go because I screamed,” she added.

Upon hearing the news, his father, Ricky Nash, jumps into his car and follows Mr. McPherson.

“I was so relieved when he was handcuffed,” he said.

Deric McPherson was arrested on Wednesday and charged with kidnapping and sexual imposition.

He is currently being held at Butler County Jail in Ohio.
