An unfortunate fireworks accident occurred in Michigan on Monday, killing one and injuring nine.

The residents of two neighboring residences in the city of Park, in the United States, did not expect to live such a nightmare.
They were engaged in a “competition” of fireworks, says Shawn Manders, witnessed the accident closely.
“We are doing a kind of competition to see who might do it the strongest,” he said in an interview with WXMI.
Around 11:00 p.m., the neighborhood heard loud explosions towards one of the houses.
In front of the residence, ten people were injured by the explosion of the fireworks. One of the victims, a woman, succumbed to her injuries.

Met the day following the tragedy, Shawn Manders is still shaken by the scene he saw.
«[Des voisins] were doing CPR to the lady, and a lot of other people were lying on the floor. It was really horrible,” he recalled.
The police are investigating the circumstances of the tragedy.
