MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (AP) — A man was killed and two women were wounded in a shooting at a Miami Beach nightclub early Sunday, police said.
Authorities began receiving reports of shots fired shortly before 4 am at the Gala club in South Beach, Miami Beach police said in a news release.
Upon arrival, the police found three people with apparent bullet wounds. A man and two women were taken to a medical center, where the man died, police said. Women are expected to recover.
Police did not report arrests or identify possible suspects.
The club did not respond to a message asking for more information.
Miami Beach in recent months has suffered a wave of gun violence.
