Opening in Rabat of the 6th edition of the parliamentary forum on social justice

Rabat – The work of the 6th edition of the Parliamentary Forum on Social Justice opened on Monday morning in Rabat, under the theme “Social dialogue and challenges of the social state”, at the initiative of the House of Councilors in partnership with the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE).

The inaugural session of this edition, organized under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, was marked by the presence of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, the Speaker of the House of Advisors, Naama Mayara, the Chief of the government Aziz Akhannouch and the president of the CESE, Ahmed Rida Chami.

It was also attended by the Speaker of the Parliament of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), Sidie Mohamed Tunis, and the Secretary General of the Confederation of Arab Trade Unions, Mustapha Tlili.

This edition takes place in a context marked by the emergence of a new generation of economic, social and cultural rights and the appearance of new social actors and new forms of citizen interaction with societal issues.
