A member of the “Strong Republic” bloc, Representative Razi Al-Hajj, pointed out that “it is unhealthy for this government to appoint a new governor for the central government, because he will be subject to appeal and will not represent a new plan for the central administration, and he needs an oath and priority to elect a president for the republic.”
He indicated, in an interview on MTV, that “the four deputies of the ruler, especially Wasim Mansouri, must assume responsibility and they must run the public utility even if they resign, and their statement is rejected in form and the choice of the judicial guard is illegal.”
Al-Hajj stressed that “the statement of the four deputies of the ruler comes from those whom he chose for these positions, and in every election that we pass without a president for the republic, we are partners in prolonging the vacancy.”
