Orlando Arcia is making the most of his playing time with the Atlanta Braves. In the southerners’ visit to the St. Louis Cardinals, the native slugger hit his first homer of the year. He was up once morest the lefty of the red birds, Steven Matz who punished with a line drive that barely cleared the left field fence at Busch Stadium.
This is his first four-corner drive since last year’s postseason. He threw a total of 366 feet from the plate and also went nearly 100 mph through the outfield. This blow without men on the trails temporarily extended the Braves’ lead to three runs.
