ÖSV jumper beaten on the large hill, gold to Slovenian Zajc – winter sports

Planica – The Austrian ski jumpers also missed out on the large hill at the World Championships in the celebrated home triumph of the Slovenian Timi Zajc in Planica. Defending champion Stefan Kraft had to settle for sixth place on Friday. Ryoyu Kobayashi from Japan took silver, well behind 22-year-old Zajc, and Dawid Kubacki from Poland took bronze.
