Ottapalam mother and son dead in bedroom; It is concluded that he killed his mother and committed suicide

Palakkad: A mother and son were found dead inside their house at Ottapalam Palapuram. Saraswathiyamma (68) and son Vijayakrishnan (48) of deceased Vasumohan were found dead in Nayadikuzhi house on Palappuram Gas Godown Road. The initial conclusion is that the son committed suicide following killing his mother.

The bodies of both were found in the bedroom on Tuesday morning. The mother’s body was found with injuries on her neck. His son was also found hanging near this. Police reached the spot and started investigation.
