Vorarlberg Nativity Scenes – From the creation of small works of art

The people of Vorarlberg are true nativity scene fans. Austria’s only crib museum is in Dornbirn. The most recent achievement is a 21 meter long nativity scene depicting 16 stations from the life of Jesus. The master, Antonio Pigozzi, worked on it for almost a year. The documentation shows how cribs are built in Vorarlberg, but also conveys the tradition of this centuries-old custom in Austria.
