Changanassery (Kottayam): A couple was killed in a road accident on MC Road. Saipu Vanchipuzha Saiju (43) and his wife BB (40) were killed when their scooter collided with an uncontrolled car. The accident happened at 2.45 pm on Sunday.
Saiju and Bibi were on their way to a relative’s funeral in Eraviperur. According to the police, the car which came from Changanassery area went out of control and hit the scooter. Saiju runs a stationery shop at Kurichi Mandir junction. Children: Amal and the late Abel. Culture later.
