Eisenstadt – The ÖVP Burgenland called for the immediate resignation of the new SPÖ federal party leader Hans Peter Doskozil as governor on Monday. The functions of the state governor and the federal party chairman are not compatible, state party chairman Christian Sagartz found. “The new office will inevitably lead to a neglect of his duties towards Burgenland,” he complained.
