More than 120 centimeters of snow fell. Thousands of vehicles got stuck at an altitude of 2300 meters, temperatures dropped to minus nine degrees Celsius. At least six people have frozen to death in their cars. The police suspect that the other victims suffocated from exhaust fumes.
