Pakistan hospital blast; Four people were injured, including two women

The cylinder exploded at Shehbaz Sharif Hospital in Multani, Pakistan. The blast set fire to the first floor of the hospital. Four people, including two women, were seriously injured in the incident.

A cylinder stored in the hospital’s laboratory was reported to have exploded. The blast at the hospital shattered the windows of nearby buildings. The injured and other patients were shifted to Nishtar Hospital.

However, Pakistani media reported that the director of the emergency rescue unit said that no preliminary investigation had found any evidence that the cylinder had exploded. Officials are investigating the cause of the blast, ARY News reported.
