Jerusalem: Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian citizen who was accused of running into a soldier. Habbaz Abdul Hafeez Yusuf Rayan (54) was killed.
The incident took place on Wednesday near the McCabin military checkpoint in the occupied West Bank. The car rammed the Israeli soldier who was standing near the check post. After leaving the car, he attacked the Israeli soldier with an axe.
An Israeli soldier was seriously injured in the incident. Then the army opened fire on him. 125 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank this year.
