GRANITEVILLE, S.C. – Augusta University’s Elías Pálsson delivered a career performance Saturday, scoring 38 points to lead the Jaguars to an 80-74 victory over rival USC Aiken at The Convocation Center. Pálsson’s shooting display, including 5-of-6 from three-point range, proved pivotal as Augusta improved to 10-17 overall and 5-12 in the Peach Belt Conference.

The win marked a significant turnaround for Augusta, who controlled the game’s tempo early, leading 28-22 at halftime.
