Let’s participate in the Third National Multihazard Drill 2023 to which the National Institute of Civil Defense (Indeci) summons us, as provided in Ministerial Resolution 013-2022-PCM.
Under the motto “Preparation begins with you”, this drill will promote the community preparation of Peruvians.
What is the purpose of drills?
It is an exercise where the population, Civil Defense authorities and public and private institutions participate in a mass evacuation due to an emergency or fictitious disaster.
What time will the exercise take place?
The exercise will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. in commemoration of World Tsunami Awareness Day, created from the disasters that have occurred in Japan over many years.
What should we do during the drill?
Let’s stay alert to the sound of horns, bells or whistles that warn of the start of the drill. Let’s use evacuation routes to an external safe area. Let’s follow the instructions of authorities or volunteers until the end of the drill.

How do we prepare the family emergency plan?
It’s simple: we just have to remember the IUEAO vowels (we identify, locate, prepare, assign and organize).
