Pastrana blames Santos for the Court’s decision on the decriminalization of abortion

The former president of Colombia Andrés Pastrana Arango stated on his Twitter account that he reproaches the decision made by the Constitutional Court on the decriminalization of abortion in the country until the 24th week of pregnancy.

In this sense, Pastrana pointed out that this is due to the freedoms granted by Juan Manuel Santos in their periods of government and that, thanks to this, the limits of legality were exceeded.

“The Constitutional Court of Juan Manuel Santos has exceeded all the limits of legality, humanity and sanity by legalizing infanticide. We must call a referendum to stop this madness”, indicated in his tweet the president of the country in the period 1998 to 2002.

In his invitation to revoke this decision, Pastrana Arango in his tweet quoted the official account of Pope Francis.
