His ability to perform under pressure was key to the Black Knights’ success.He combined “to go 3-for-8 with two go-ahead home runs and six RBIs during the Black Knights’ two-game sweep over Lafayette on Saturday,” and further showing of his offensive prowess, Parker went “2-for-5 with two runs and two RBIs in a 12-3 win against Lehigh on Sunday.”

Pitcher of the Week: Liam O’Hearen, Lehigh, so., RHP

Liam O’Hearen earned Patriot League Baseball Pitcher of the Week honors after throwing a complete-game shutout against Army West Point, leading Lehigh to a 2-0 victory. The sophomore right-hander was dominant on the mound, scattering five hits and striking out 11 batters. The freshman right-hander scattered five hits, walked none and struck out this season’s Patriot League single-game high 11 batters.
As they work to climb in the standings, O’Hearen’s efforts are a bright spot for the Mountain Hawks.
“He held the Black Knights to a .161 batting average in the Mountain Hawks win,” highlighting just how effective he was.

Rookie of the Week: Jake Lenahan, Holy Cross, Fr.,RHP

Jake Lenahan,a freshman right-hander from Holy Cross,was named Patriot League Baseball Rookie of the Week. He earned his first collegiate win by tossing 4.0 scoreless innings against Lehigh. In an impressive relief appearance, he did not allow a hit and struck out five. The freshman is quickly becoming a key player for the Crusaders, and his early achievements position him as a prospect to watch in the league.

Tyler Dunn, Bucknell, Sr., 1B: Dunn hit .500 with a .786 slugging percentage in four games against Navy, driving in five runs. “Dunn batted .500 (7-for-14), slugging .786 and reaching base at a .632 clip in four games against Navy.” He went 2-for-3 with three RBIs in the Bison’s win against Navy.

Chris Baillargeon, Holy Cross, Sr., 1B: Baillargeon batted .579 with a .737 slugging percentage, scoring seven runs and recording three doubles. “Baillargeon batted .579 (11-for-19), slugging .737 and posting a.667 on-base percentage with three rbis and seven runs scored with three doubles.”

Danny Macchiarola, Holy Cross, Jr. RHP: Macchiarola earned his fourth straight win, allowing four runs in a win over Lehigh while striking out eight.

Trey Zaffiro, Lafayette, Fr., RHP: Zaffiro earned a win against Penn State, allowing two runs over 6.0 innings. “Zaffiro earned a win against Penn State after allowing two runs on four hits over 6.0 innings pitched.”

Matt Archibald, Navy, So.,RHP: Archibald allowed one run on two hits in two starts,striking out 13. Tyler Bouchard, Navy, So., OF: Bouchard batted.625 with a 1.250 slugging percentage in three wins against Bucknell.
