Pearls with a negative balance in the preparation for the World Cup – news

The National Senior Women’s Handball Team lost, last Saturday, to Poland, 33-30, in a challenge valid for the Four Nations tournament, known as the “Posten Cup”, as part of the preparation for the 26th edition of the World Championship, which will take place in Denmark, Sweden and Norway, from the 29th of this month to the 17th of December.

Despite the less successful result, the helmsman of the national seven, Vivaldo Eduardo, was not worried, as the tournament serves to identify the points that need to be improved.

In the first meeting, the Angolans lost to hosts Norway, 32-24. Remember that the African Pearls will compete in group D with teams from Norway, Slovenia and Iceland.

In the last edition of the world event, in 2022, the Angolan team finished in 25th position, a competition won by Norway.
