Pedestrian (80) killed in accident with car in Linz – Oberösterreichisches Volksblatt

A fatal accident occurred in the Linz city area on Sunday afternoon. An 80-year-old pedestrian was killed.

A 70-year-old woman from the Linz-Land district was driving her car on Florianer Strasse in Linz city center. After stopping at the intersection with Wiener Strasse, she turned left into Wiener Strasse and collided with an 80-year-old woman from Linz who was using the pedestrian crossing there.

The pedestrian was hit by the car and was left lying on the road with serious injuries. Resuscitation attempts by the emergency doctor were unfortunately unsuccessful.
