Asuncion, IP Agency.- The President of the Republic, Santiago Peña, leads the bike ride, with hundreds of participants on the Costanera Sur that opens this Saturday. Upon arriving at the place, the head of State declared that This work is a long-awaited dream and it is the best way to start pedaling.
Invites all citizens and, especially, the people of Asunción to enjoy the Costanera Sur and its wonder with the Paraguay River. He stated that he is “Very happy with the opening“, since this infrastructure will greatly help, not only the circulation from Lambaré to Asunción, but also to speed up traffic in the metropolitan area and “improve the quality of life of the people of Asunción and Paraguay.”
Citizens are the protagonists of a project designed not only to provide a road solution between Asunción and Lambaré, but also to provide an additional space in which to enjoy an open-air space with corners designed for sports, relaxation and even culture.
The city festival begins on two wheels, as it takes place with a bike ride and many sports for all ages.
