People get ready, it is going to rain in different cities of the country – Pakistan

The Meteorological Department has predicted light to heavy rains in most parts of the country.

According to the Department of Meteorology, the forecast is likely to remain partly cloudy in most districts of the country, while rain with wind is expected in Islamabad and surrounding areas.

A new rain system will enter Pakistan today, due to which rain is forecast in most districts of the country.

Regarding the weather situation, it has been reported that rains are expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar region, Punjab, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, while heavy rains with wind and thunder are likely in Islamabad.

Similarly, rains are likely in Murree, Guliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Sialkot, Gujrat, Lahore and Hafizabad. Rainfall is also expected in Khushab, Jhang, Mianwali, Sargodha and Faisalabad. Meanwhile, there may be hailstorm at few places in Potohar region.

Meanwhile, heavy rain is expected in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while there is a chance of hailstorm in a few places. The weather will remain warm in most of the districts of Sindh and light rain is expected in Tharparkar in the evening hours.

The weather is likely to remain hot and dry in most of the districts of Balochistan.

Light and heavy rains with strong winds and thundershowers are expected in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
