The artist, Laila Elwi, mourned, through her official account on the Instagram website, the great artist Rajaa Hussein, who left our world yesterday, Tuesday, at the age of 84.
And “Laila” published a picture that she collected with the late star, and commented on it, saying: “We belong to God and to Him we shall return. We lost a capable and dear artist.”
And she continued, “We worked with some and learned from them, and she worked with many great directors, the camera loves her and she worked with many distinguished personalities.”
And she added: “The picture we were picturing at the National Film Festival, and she was kind in the last session, and the people’s love for her was great, may God have mercy on the artist, Rajaa Hussein.”
Artist Ragaa Hussein, born in November 1937, presented unforgettable works of art, including: “Egyptian story, The Return of the Prodigal Son, Sparrow, Mouths and Rabbits, Dreams of a Flying Boy, Raya and Sakina, Sons and Killers” and others.
