Pep has given an answer to the issue by displacing the expectations of the fans that Pep would be interested in coaching at one of the big clubs and retire at the end of his career.
He said that his goal is to train young players to become the best players in the world and for that he will end his career by becoming the coach of Barcelona Athletic in Spain. Pep shared these things in an interview with George Weldanock.
“I will end my career where I started. I want to spend the last period of my career at Barcelona Athletic. I believe that is the best,’ said Pep.
In 2008, Pep Guardiola took charge as the coach of Barca. Barca achieved many records under his management, including three La Liga titles and two UEFA Champions League trophies. Guardiola left Barcelona and joined Bayern Munich in 2012. Then in 2016, he was going to Manchester City.
