Person injured while raising skûtsje | All IFKS matches for today cancelled

De Lytse Lies with skipper Tony Brundel from Gaastmeer has won the third competition in the big A class of the IFKS schooner sailing.

On the Hegemer Mar, Brundel Steven Zijsling with the Striidber and Sikke Heerschop with the Englishman stayed ahead.

Pieter Jilles Tjoelker won the first two matches of this championship with the Sterke Jerke, but today he did not get further than fourth place.

“This is great, man. Fantastic,” says Brundel after the race. “This is home water, you know, our training water. The channel often pulls, so in the first round we took one buoy and in the second round the other. The wind changed and you have to anticipate that.”
