“There was no assassination attempt,” he said, commenting on rumors that there was an explosion on the route of the presidential motorcade.
Earlier, the Sun newspaper reported that, allegedly last Wednesday, a loud sound was heard during the passage of the cortege through the Russian capital, following which the place of emergency was shrouded in smoke.
