When we were filming The Lord of the Rings, I always thought that I was unlucky to be among those who did not have a chance to see this movie from scratch.
By the time these films were first screened, I had been completely immersed in them for five or six years. And I considered it a great loss that I might not see them in the same way as everyone else.
