Peter Stormare returns to the new “Call of Duty” | MovieZine

The Replacer is back.

Everyone’s Swedish pride Peter Stormare is now making a grand return to the “Call of Duty” series with his character The Replacer, a person who takes other people’s place so they can play “Call of Duty” instead.

The Replacer is a character originally played by Peter Stormare in the marketing for “Call of Duty: Black Ops II” and became so popular that it returned to “Call of Duty Black Ops: III” and “Call of Duty: Black Ops 4” . In “Call of Duty: Black Ops 4”, The Replacer also became a playable character for the first time in the game’s Blackout mode.

Now Stormare and The Replacer are back to promote the upcoming “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6”, which will be released on October 25. It’s a bit unclear if Peter Stormare’s character will only appear in the marketing or reappear in the game itself.
