Petro Burgos Facing New Charges: Updates on the Legal Proceedings and Alleged Irregularities

During the hearing to control the legality of the principle of opportunity between the Prosecutor’s Office and Day Vásquez, the delegate of the prosecuting body, Mario Burgos, reported that in the coming weeks new charges will be brought once morest the former deputy of Atlántico, Nicolás Petro.

The prosecutor added that he will also request a security measure, without mentioning the date of that procedure or whether the capture of the president’s son will be ordered.
