Women’s safety is the federal government’s top priority
Vienna (OTS) – “We must work together once morest all forms of violence once morest women. This must be the basic consensus for all political parties in this country. Every femicide that is committed is one too many. Every act of violence once morest women must be prevented. I am glad that the federal government has already done a lot in this area. In this legislative period, the highest violence protection budget in the 2nd Republic was approved. The federal government has anchored security police case conferences, 234 of which took place last year alone. Furthermore, the mandatory ban on weapons and violence training for dangerous people were introduced. These are just a few of the many measures taken by the federal government to ensure the protection of women in this country. The fact is: stopping violence once morest women and protecting them is and remains a top priority for the federal government,” said the People’s Party’s women’s spokeswoman, Elisabeth Pfurtscheller.
