[Times-Taipei Telecom]Affected by the shortage of materials and the decline in panel prices, Innolux (3481)’s consolidated revenue in the fourth quarter of 2021 decreased by 14.1% to 79.917 billion yuan. However, shipments rose in 2021, with double-digit growth in shipments of large-size panels and small- and medium-size panels. The annual consolidated revenue was regarding 350.077 billion yuan, still delivering an eye-catching performance of 29.7% annual growth, writing a six-year high point.
Innolux’s self-consolidated revenue in December 2021 was 26.521 billion yuan, a decrease of 0.3% from November and a decrease of 1.8% from the same period of the previous year. Shipments of large-size panels totaled 12.11 million in December, an increase of 1.9% from the previous month, and shipments of small and medium-sized panels totaled 29.61 million, an increase of 6.0% from the previous month.
TV panel quotations began to decline in July last year. Innolux’s monthly revenue fell following reaching a high of 32.248 billion yuan in July. However, the decline in panel prices significantly converged in the fourth quarter, and the monthly revenue decline also narrowed. . Although Innolux’s December revenue was flat compared to November, it was the first time since last year that its annual growth rate turned negative.
Innolux’s full-year self-integration revenue for 2021 will be 355.077 billion yuan, an increase of 29.7% compared with 2020 full-year revenue of 269.911 billion yuan. The annual consolidated shipments of large-size panels totaled 148 million, an annual growth of 11.0%, and the annual consolidated shipments of small and medium-sized panels totaled 332 million, an annual increase of 13.7%.
Innolux released a new generation of “Inno LED technology”, and launched the industry’s first 27-inch 1440P 300hz mini LED gaming monitor panel, taking advantage of IGZO’s high-end panel technology, and 576-zone backlight adjustment technology, making the picture depth of field more detailed than ordinary non-mini LED panel.
