A Sunday full of pain is lived in Coro, where eight deaths were the result of a bus colliding with a pole. Unfortunately, the unit subsequently overturned and caught fire in its entirety.
The tragic accident occurred on the morning of November 22 in the Norte de Coro bypass, Miranda municipality, Notifalcón reports.
Unofficially, it was reported that “the driver lost control of the unit and hit a public lighting pole.”
In Notifalcon it is added that two passengers died from the impact when they were expelled from the bus. A third died after being transferred to a hospital and “another five were trapped in the fire, inside the van.”
PNB, GNB and firefighters officials are at the site, where Colonel Paulo Zavala, commander of the Miranda firefighters, told the aforementioned media that another 13 people were taken to the Doctor Alfredo Van Grieken Hospital in Coro.
