To put pressure on the comedian and obtain the 4,000 euros he was asking for, the blackmailer – a certain Haroun – would have sent him a short extract of their antics. But as it did not work, an accomplice of Haroun came into play to also put pressure on Véronique Sanson, the ex-wife of Pierre Palmade.
Finally, given the magnitude that the case was taking, the comedian notified the police and an investigation was conducted. As Le Parisien reveals, this was successful. The famous Haroun actually turned out to be Yaniss, a man already known to the courts and who in the past had not respected his prison obligations. He was arrested and presented to court on Wednesday, January 18. He admitted the facts, was placed under judicial supervision and will be tried for blackmail in April.
