Innsbruck/Bruneck – The Pioneers Vorarlberg have won their first knockout game in club history and have laid a good foundation for promotion to the quarter-finals of the ICE ice hockey league. The Vorarlbergers won the first game of the “best of three” series in Innsbruck once morest the Haie 6:3 (2:1.3:2.1:0) in the pre-play-off on Sunday. The Pioneers can move into the quarter-finals on Tuesday (7:30 p.m.) with home advantage in Feldkirch.
