Pipeline damage generates suspension of water service in Cartagena | THE UNIVERSAL

This Tuesday damage to the main pipe was reported, which is why Aguas de Cartagena had to suspend the service to carry out the intervention and repair the damage.

The pipeline broke in the Vista Hermosa neighborhood, at the height of Indupollo. Although Acuacar has not yet reported the percentage of neighborhoods that will be affected, many already report not having potable water service.

El Universal learned that Acuacar is still evaluating the affected neighborhoods, so there is still no complete report. But it is estimated that in principle the damage will affect regarding 55% of the city, including the neighborhoods of the tourist area: Bocagrande, Castillogrande and El Laguito. The repair is estimated to take 14 hours.
