Isola acknowledged the potential for overheating issues with the smaller tires, stating, “the smaller tires means that they will be more prone to overheating and have different characteristics. However, for this reason, we work on new components and the new structure. Our aim is to offer the best product for drivers.”

Looking ahead, Pirelli remains focused on aligning with driver needs. “Nevertheless,what is significant is that we work in the same direction as the drivers. We want to offer them a tire without overheating problems and in line with targets. However, the dimension should be determined in accordance with the decision of the teams. I fully understand the comments and criticisms of the drivers, but we must proceed in one direction. ”
