The Belgian court has its own gardening service to take care of the spacious gardens and greenhouses around our royal residences. Every now and then Queen Paola, herself blessed with green fingers, brightens up a piece of green herself. She chooses her plants from plant dealer Nik Spruyt (48) from Buggenhout. “And she does this with an exceptional amount of expertise,” he says in ‘Story’.
