Health Monitor denounced this Thursday, March 3, that a patient in a cast at the Hospital de Los Magallanes de Catia, Capital District, was forced to crawl down the stairs due to the inoperability of the elevators.

“Patients at Hospital Los Magallanes de Catia have to crawl down the stairs, in order to get down from the upper floors. Of six elevators that the health center has, only one works and half machine, “said Monitor Salud, while publishing a photograph.

Regarding the elevator that “works at half speed”, the NGO explained that the doors do not work properly.

“A worker must push the doors for them to open and close, which represents a risk for anyone who dares to go up or down in this elevator,” he said.
