PM to attend Abe’s funeral; On the 27th to Tokyo Narendra Modi | BJP | India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the funeral of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Modi, who will arrive in Tokyo on 27th, will also meet Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

Abe is Japan’s longest-serving prime minister. Shinzo Abe (67) was shot by an assailant while he was speaking at an election campaign meeting in the city of Nara on July 8. The bullet penetrated the right side of the neck and the heart. Abe was given first aid and transferred to the hospital by helicopter. 100 vials of blood were given during the treatment but no results were seen. Tetsuya Yamagami (41), an ex-naval member who was shot, was arrested at the scene.
