Niantic has announced the return of its annual Pokémon GO Fest event for the 2022 edition following two cancellations due to the pandemic. Some events will take place in person, others will be held online.
The two-day global event will take place on Saturday June 4, 2022 and Sunday June 5, 2022, followed by a final bonus event on Saturday August 27, 2022.
For those who prefer to party with other fans of the popular mobile game, there will be in-person events in the following cities:
- Berlin, Germany
1is July 2022 to July 3, 2022 - Seattle, United States
July 22, 2022 to July 24, 2022 - Sapporo, Japon
August 5, 2022 to August 7, 2022
At this time, Niantic hasn’t released any further details regarding its Pokémon GO Fest event, but there are sure to be plenty of fun perks for players whether they participate in the events online or in person.
