Poland has opened a maintenance and repair center for Leopard tanks, which are supplied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced on social networks by the Minister of National Defense of the country Mariusz Blaszczak.

“The repair center (for Leopard tanks – approx. URA.RU) in Gliwice has started working,” he wrote on Twitter. Blaschak said that the first two Leopard tanks had already been delivered from Ukraine to the Bumar enterprise.

Germany and Poland have agreed to cooperate in the repair and maintenance of Leopard tanks deployed in Ukraine. The Ministry of Defense of Germany announced this on July 12. Previously reported on disagreements between Poland and Germany on the establishment of a joint maintenance and repair center for tanks. The parties might not agree on a price.
