Poland Summons Russian Ambassador Over Violation of Airspace: Latest Updates and Reactions

On the 29th, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Andrey Ordas, Russia’s acting ambassador to Poland.

Poland’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement that it had protested to Chargé d’Affaires Ordas over the incident in which Russian missiles violated Polish airspace and demanded an immediate halt to such activities.

According to Russia’s RIA Novosti news agency, Acting Ambassador Ordas reacted to Poland’s protest by saying, “There is no substantiation.”

Previously, the Polish Ministry of Defense announced on the 29th that a Russian missile once entered its airspace.

Wiesław Cucko, Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Armed Forces, said at a press conference that the Russian missile entered Polish airspace and flew regarding 40 km, with a flight time of less than 3 minutes. He also said that all circumstances indicate that a Russian missile violated Polish airspace.
