Pôle emploi: a general increase in wages of 1%, considered insufficient by most unions

Pôle emploi has decided to apply a general increase in the salaries of its agents of 1%, considered insufficient by most of the unions which had called for a strike in early February. The mandatory annual negotiation (NAO) for 2022 did not lead to an agreement, only two (CFE-CGC and UNSA) of the ten Pôle emploi unions being ready to sign.

As a result, the management decided to unilaterally apply a 1% salary increase as well as an increase in the face value of the restaurant ticket from 9.25 to 9.48 euros. For the CFDT which asked for a 3% increase, “the account is not there”, declared to its national secretary Catherine Laumont. Nevertheless, the union says it has obtained the opening of negotiations for a profit-sharing bonus for 2022.

The first increase since 2017

About a quarter of Pôle emploi agents had gone on strike on February 1 at the call of the inter-union which demanded a “significant” increase in wages and staff in the face of the “pile up” of action plans to job seekers. According to the CFDT, this general increase is the first, since an increase of 0.5% in 2017.

In addition, some 30,000 of the operator’s 55,000 agents have received the government inflation allowance of 100 euros, reserved for employees receiving less than 2,000 euros net monthly, proof of these low salaries estimated Hélène Ibanez (CFDT),
