Police suspend evacuation of German ‘lignite village’ until Thursday morning: 200 activists stand their ground

In the night from Wednesday to Thursday, the German police stopped removing activists from the occupied ‘lignite village’ Lützerath. A spokesman for the police tells the German news agency ‘DPA’ that officers do not intend to enter barricaded houses. Officers remain on site.
