Dubai: Dubai Police launched a campaign to make e-scooter and bicycle riders safety conscious. A campaign was prepared in Al Rafah police station limits to ask for more vigilance and safety precautions in the context of increasing incidents of injuries to riders and others in accidents. Col. Mohammad Ahmad Ashkanani said that the campaign aims to introduce traffic rules and regulations to cyclists and e-scooter riders and to inform them regarding the roads and lanes designated for traffic. He also asked to follow the instructions of wearing a helmet, wearing a reflective jacket, using bright front and red rear lights and reflectors.
