Pope of Alexandria Tawadros II, Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, was exposed to a health ailment, manifested in a simple inflammation of the seventh nerve, following presiding over the mass of the Feast of the Holy Spirit this Sunday morning in King Mariout, Egypt.
The official spokesman for the Coptic Orthodox Church, Reverend Musa Ibrahim, stated, “The diagnosis of the condition came following undergoing accurate medical examinations, and the doctors advised him to take a rest period with some medications and physical therapy sessions.”
